Flagler Beach is a Florida town like no other. That's not just an expression, it's the reality of how the town gives unparalleled access to, and views of, six miles of uncrowded beaches. There are no high rises blocking your view of the beach. In fact, the coastal scenic highway A1A runs directly along the beach with nothing but the city's fishing pier and an occasional tiki hut between sightseers and the beach There is plenty of free parking along the beach side of A1A from the pier North, a distance of several miles with dune walkovers at nearly every intersection. To have any more access to a beach than what you find in Flagler Beach you would have to live directly on the ocean. Living or vacationing in Flagler Beach means you can park the car and walk or ride your bike to the places you want to go.
